The Imp Club Ltd treats the privacy of its members and website users very seriously and we take appropriate security measures to safeguard your privacy. We use your personal data to manage and administer your membership. This includes:
Posting your Club magazine
Emailing the digital version of the Club magazine and sharing news
Telephoning or emailing you regarding your membership details and renewal
Telephoning or emailing you for magazine articles
Telephoning or emailing you regarding shows and/or events
The only Club Officials authorised to see your data are:
Membership Secretary - for purposes of managing your membership
The Club Treasurer – for purposes of accounting and financial regulation
The Spares Officer – for verifying membership and delivery of ordered items
Area Centre Co-ordinator - for managing and delivering services to the Area Centre network
Area Centre Organisers (in the UK) - for arranging and co-ordinating local meetings
Overseas Contacts (outside the UK) - for arranging and co-ordinating local meetings
Forum Manager - for administering the forum and to verify membership
Magazine Editor - for administering the Magazine and to verify membership
Social Media Officer - for administering of social media channels and to verify membership
Third Parties that also have access to your data are:
Lavenham Press Ltd. – for printing and posting our Club magazine. They are supplied with address lists in order to print names and addresses for posting purposes
Wire Wheels Webbers Ltd - Wire Wheels Webbers provide our Club Membership system Crossmember . Access to membership records is only authorised by the Club if technical support is required.
We keep your information for a maximum of 2 years from the time of your membership expires. This is retained to enable verification of yourself as a previous member should you wish to re-join the Club after a period of your membership being lapsed. Some of the information you have provided will need to be retained for longer to meet legal, statutory and regulatory obligations
