Alexa Skill Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

Absolutely none. When you link your Alexa account to CROSSMEMBER, you will need to log in. But you will be logging in to CROSSMEMBER just like you normally would and Amazon/Alexa will not see your username or password. This is a special kind of account linking that we call Oauth2. Amazon/Alexa connect via a secure token that is given to them after you have logged in to confirm that this is what you want to do.

What we use your information for?

You have to log in to CROSSMEMBER in order for us to know who you are, your level of access to the data in CROSSMEMBER and which Club you belong to. Otherwise we’d be none the wiser as to what statistical information to give you.

Is any personal information given out over Alexa?

Absolutely not – You can’t guarantee who’s listening! The Alexa Skill is there to help the Club management team to gather high-level information about the status of the club without having to get their laptop out and login.

Do we give any information to 3rd parties?

Never!

Changes to this policy

Whenever you visit CROSSMEMBER it’s worth checking out our Privacy Policies from time to time. If they change we will notify you via the email that you supplied when your CROSSMEMBER account was created.
